If you have a pre-booked appointment and you have Coronavirus symptoms, please DO NOT attend your appointment. This includes a high temperature, a new, continuous cough and / or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN ASKED TO BY A MEMBER OF STAFF
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, how you contact your GP surgery will be different at the moment. This is to limit face to face contact where possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.
Face to face appointments are available to all patients where the doctor considers it clinically necessary, but you will be asked to provide us with details of your illness first so your doctor can access what type of appointment would be most appropriate for you.
The system we use to do this is called eConsult and is the chosen system of the NHS as it is a clinical system which provides your GP with all the information they need to make a safe clinical assessment. The system will ask you questions much like a GP would in a face to face consultation, so please take the time to give as much information as you can.
If you need help or support to complete this then please call our reception team who will be happy to help you.
You can also call 111. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have an appointment.
Please note the eConsult Service is available from 6.30 am until 6.30 pm weekdays and is closed at weekends. Please call 111 for medical assistance over this period or 999 for a medical emergency.

Our Organisation is part of My Care Record approach which is supporting the work of health and care organisations across the East of England as they respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. For example, we are working to make sure doctors, nurses and co-ordination staff at places you may receive advice or treatment can see important information from your patient record. This could include NHS treatment centres such as the London NHS Nightingale Hospital. This will make it easier and faster for them to deliver effective care.
For more information on My Care Record please see our news letter in the News tab.

Care Quality Commission
Our practice has recently been reviewed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) (https://www.cqc.org.uk/), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. One of their core aims is to ensure GPs provide effective, caring and responsive services and to identify and encourage improvements.
We are pleased to announce that we have been given good ratings for delivering on our patient’s needs and ensure their care is assessed, tailored and delivered according to best practice guidelines. We’re proud to be recognised for our caring, compassionate and effective approach, as well as for proactively seeking feedback from patients to continually improve. We are also pleased that our service has been rated good for being safe and well led
All of our patients who gave independent feedback to the CQC were positive about our practice, specifically praising the confidence they have in our supportive, convenient, professional and effective service. The CQC viewed our free dispensary delivery service as an example of outstanding practice.
Thank you
